Bulldogs would have to be having a hell of a hangover to let Collingwood be 3 points in front at any stage let alone on the final siren...

Did you watch either of the games that we played them in 2016?

Game 1 we were the better side for 3 quarters and were leading at 3/4 time. However, we lost Moore, Fasolo, Adams and Toovey and had no rotations left on the bench for the last quarter and were understandably overrun.

Game 2: we lost by 3 points with a very undermanned side.

Let's see how they go against our best side, they will be lucky to get to within 4 goals of us.

Nearly correct, but the Bulldogs were missing some players from the second game as well that would be regarded as best 22 players.

This includes Morris, Liberatore, Macrae, Wallis, Redpath, Murphy and McLean.

We had more than them out and more important players, try Reid, Fasolo, Elliott, Langdon, Sinclair, Scharenberg, Swan (in our best 22 preseason), Broomhead, and Ramsay.

Not disputing that we had good players out as well, but the Bulldogs weren't at full-strength when we played them either.

Just trying to provide some context for how the match played out.

Fair enough, but by adding Mayne, Wells and WHE to the players that we had out in the round 21 game, which were much more important to our structure than the Bulldogs players that were out, I am confident we will knock them off in round 1.

No unveiling of the premiership flag for the Bulldogs in Round 1....

Will this be can-rattler, or non-can rattler game?

Fair to say it was a like for like match up. Had the umpire paid the Sidebottom free with seconds to go, we would have had the 4 points!

Confidence and self-belief are big factors in any sport.

Irrespective of how close the games of 2016 were - they won those and then they went on the win the ultimate being underdogs throughout the finals series.

They will have all the confidence and the belief and will be hard to beat, at least for the first few games.

Let's hope we can match that and then go on to win.

They will be over-confident with their newfound belief and fail badly. We hope.

a massive post premiership hangover will affect them badly, right now they think their shit does not stink, and the sun shines outa their arses. They are now ripe for the picking, and we can and will do it, and by a good margin.
