Thank the good lord for that.

All I've ever wanted is pick 105.

Now I reckon we can....

The Hine special!
Remember Marsh was the Hine special a couple of years ago!
The Hine special is a little like yesterday's cold spag bol.
Tell me again with examples of a great Hine special in this decade!
And please don't give me the up and coming rabbit.
Give me a real bargain that is dominating.

They still have orange cutters for players to have orange at 1/4 time

The 105 may get us one

Jamie Elliott would have been dominating as a small forward if not for injury.

Ditto Fasolo.

Josh Smith did well in his first year.

Marsh was on track

1. Marsh is not rated by us
2. Players like Smith are a dime dozen
3. We actually traded a first round pick to GWS for elliot and clarke
4. Fas was a good pick up but he went for pick 45 and he really has only
played a few good games this year.
Hardly a ringing endorsement on 6 or so years of the "Hine Special"!

1. Marsh not rated by who?
2. Held down a spot in a middling team, great depth.
3. Traded pick 25 (yes technically a 1st round) for Elliot, Clarke and pick 67 (used for Jarrod Witts).
4. Are you freakin serious?!?!?!

Yes I am friggin serious!
1. Gee, the WA clubs bent over backwards to get Marsh didn't they!
2. See Barlow, see Sammy Dywer, see Kyle Martin re Smith.
3. well, one decent player in 6 years as a hine special isn't a great strike rate
4. Go look at the dozens and dozens of players that have been picked up by Hine in the last 6 or so years that are not at our Club any more.

No, just putting a negative twist on any and everything

North wanted Williams and we need key position players. So what do we do, trade Williams for pick 105 and North trade Aaron Black to the Cats for a pick in the 90s. Why couldn't a straight swap be facilitated?

Don't worry Thomsoc is going to list his draft selections ahead of the draft and we can compare them to Hine's.
like he did last year
Oh wait he refused to last year

It is thompsoc not thomsoc neil!
You forgot what I said last year neil.
There are plenty of experts who give out their top 50 or so best picks.
Follow them.
So tell me neil what great picks has Hine done in the last 6 or so years?
Moore who everyone said was rated top 5.
Grundy who was universally rated as the best big man in his draft year.
De Goey who was really well rated
So lets talk about freeman and broomhead and the Berg and etc.. and etc..
and lets not even talk about the hine specials.
The dozens who have just faded year after year.

What if pick 105 turns out to be another Chris Grant?

Black is a spud that couldn't get a game at North who had Petrie and Waite trolling around. Even Majak Daw was preferred to him.

I'd rather have the pick, even if it may not be used.
