With the inclusion of Hoskin-Elliott, Mayne and the expected return of Billy Elliott, we should expect a much, much improved forward line next season.

F: Elliott Moore Mayne

HF: Hoskin-Elliott White Fasolo

Other possibles: Cox, Sidey, Aish, Broomhead, Crocker.....plus (eventually) Brown and Daics. Cool

The question is whether Darcy is better suited to CHF or FF?

Is that the only colour and Daics?

Even within games players tend to rotate around the general forward line, so there's probably no such thing as a specific full forward or centre half forward these days. It will probably also change somewhat from game to game.

No, the real question is... who will get injured first.

I love what a season at CHB did for Pebbles in his development but who takes the other key forward post if he goes back? I'd love to think Coxy could hold it down.

I really like the combination of Mayne and WHE as our mediums. These signings also allow us to play Howe in defense.

Think it's a very well balanced forward line. Two talls, two mediums and two smalls. There's plenty of quality in there as well with the main question being on White and whether WHE will meet his potential. If he does, that's a good forward line. A quality role player in Mayne surrounded by athletic offensive weapons.

It looks like the long term "blue print" plan for our forward line is one of a very mobile types, which is capable to transition quickly from defence to attack. I like it. We still have the development of Coxy as the high forward and he is very mobile for his size. Just hope we land a young KPP to develop and be there when needed.

I suspect they will all go down in the nab series and be listed as 2-3 weeks all year.

Sidebottom is one of the best small forwards in the AFL.
Hopefully some of the younger players can step up (de Goey) to allow him some more time up forward.

If these sets of players can avoid further injuries and long-term injury layoffs, I'm excited about the set of forwards we have in our possession.

White as the second tall is the only concern long-term, but I think for the short-term he's a decent option until another opportunity arises to obtain a second tall to assist Moore in the long-term.

I'm excited by the prospect of Elliott and Fasolo returning from injury and here's hoping Hoskin-Elliott and Mayne repay the faith we have in them. Hoskin-Elliott is definitely a player who possesses massive talent and it's evident Mayne's ability as a defensive forward was one of the reasons why we obtained him to begin with.

We also have the option of potentially playing any of the following in Howe, Reid, Pendles, Sidebottom, Varcoe and De Goey up forward if such a need arises.

Agreed. I am hoping the inclusion of Wells allows more time at half forward for Sidey.

A few reports about Pendles up there, id rather see Sidebottom. He's a natural goal kicker.

Not for mine, he's done his apprenticeship at under 18's and also played VFL at CHB.

Darcy will own CHF and thank god as it's been along time since we've had a star.
