Absolutely, also has a bit of aggro about him and seems to be an organiser in the back half. (at Casey anyway) |

Proves that the club didn't plan on Nathan Brown leaving. |
Disagree, it was reported in The Age last week that we had pulled our offer to Brown. Bucks also mentioned that he would be leaving at the Copeland. We also chose not to match a very low FA offer from St Kilda. Thus, I think we were very well aware that he was leaving. |
Not 100% accurate I think MT. Brown said he had a open honest talk with Bucks at seasons end and was told he wouldn't be guaranteed at top 22 spot
We offered him a 1yr deal with a 1yr option that he said no to. We then had the chance to match StKildas offer but choose not to. It mightn't have been massive money but it was obviously more than we thought he was worth and it was a guaranteed 2yr deal as I understand it from trade radio. |

Q for those who watch Melbourne more closely than I do ... Dunn had a very solid 2014 and 2015 playing every game and ranking well in rebound 50s ... what happened in 2016 (only 4 games)? Was he just overtaken by the McDonalds (Tom & Oscar)? _________________ All We Can Be |

As I said in the post under the one you have quoted, the Age reported that he was offered a 2 year deal three months ago, which he declined. Then he went back to the club a couple of months later and the offer had been reduced and then they said it was subsequently pulled. As I said in that post, not sure how accurate that was, but that was what was reported. I would trust what Brown said more than what the journalists reported. |

I am not suggesting he's a great or good player, just that perhaps can be somewhat useful. New club and coaches maybe can help a bit. But comes virtually free with the deal so who knows.
It could be that we don't get him, won't be sad if that happens though. _________________ Ðavâgé

Tom was always in front of him, but they decided to go with Oscar over Dunn to fast track his development. |
