I'm not sure if I'm comfortable with a new bloke taking the kick-in's. He'd have to come to understand our systems/traits VERY quickly. I'd see him more of a bullocking pack crasher and link up for long kicks to half forward. Or is he just a stay at home FB ?
When you factor into this deal, the 'potential' they may bond well together in the back pocket based from their past playing days, it sounds practical |
So you don't actually think, that 6 months' pre season and numerous training and bonding sessions will see this play out as any normal thinking person would see it??? I just see this as another whinge by another person who wouldn't be happy no matter what we did. |

Not at all. I'm actually quite optimistic. I just think Howe's kick-in ability has been hard to beat...admittedly compared to a guy I don't know little about. So he can kick long and accurate but does he have the ability and confidence to hit shorter moving targets? Does he have the touch for a big bloke? I'll calm down and trust the process but just highlighting a concern about a new player kicking-in. Wells is quite experienced at it and gives us another option too but he is elite |

Think 44 is too high, talk the Dees need to free up salary cap to fit Lewis and Hibberd in, so think like us with Cloke they will accept a 4th rounder. Maybe we use the pick we get for Cloke or a three way deal:
Dunn to us
Cloke to Dogs
Pick from Dogs to Dees. |
That is the way I see it as well. |

He played most of his footy forward - usually CHF.
He was poor, but it may have been more about the side and environment.
Had some standout games at FB where he would out mark and take off, looking dominant.
Our FF CHF CHB FB stocks are super low, whilst the rest of the side oozes class.
Don't know what the hell we are doing or what it means.
A lot of faith in Moore/White/Cox or playing a brand new style of football. |

Correct me if I am wrong, but whether we had selection 47 or 51, either way we would be using it to select one of our father sons?
All it does is help Melbourne step up the pecking order and we get Dunn for nothing. |
