Interesting times.

Now Defence recognises PTSD, yet at State level we have all the emergency services insurers rejecting claims as they do not recognise PTSD. If you are a State emergency worker and appeal the rejection you will be liable for any costs if your appeal is rejected and this could be in the tens of thousand dollars.
The highlighted case is just a tip of the iceberg of what is transpiring.
We currently have insurers across many levels who simply do not pay out on claims. No doubt Turdbull will invite them for a cup of tea and a biscuit and slap their wrists like he did with the banks. |

A mate living in Thailand has PTSD and is an ex copper and they are paying him. He was based at Ballarat. I get back to Thailand on Thursday and will ask him what he knows. I think the problem here is wider than that. It took Defence a long time to admit it existed and in WW1 many troops were executed for desertion or cowardice for some how not being able to stand constant bombing and shelling and watching mates getting cut to ribbons by machine guns. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |
