I'm actually a little disappointed to see the German leave, he showed a bit from his limited opportunities at the Reds. WKB you're getting a quality player.

Apparently Spurs are trying to buy a 32 year old Argentinian central defender from AC Milan & the word is that they're trying to bulid a side to win the veterans' competitions in a couple of seasons.

Ziege did well from his limited opportunities at Liverpool. But this year we have Redknapp and Litman returning from injury and hopefully will get a full year out of Berger. We also just signed another young czech player to compliment Smicer and Berger.
