To partner Warner ? Marsh is the incumbent and scored good runs yesterday. If his hammy is any risk, Joe Burns is right there - scored a century today. Burns could bat at first drop but Ussy Khawaja also scored well, today, with 79.
The preferred opening bowling pair - Starc and Hazlewood - are getting a good workout. Just 1 wicket but they've bowled 30 overs between them. |
Unless his hammy gives out, you can pencil in S Marsh to partner Warner. 73 & 48* in the match v. SA. Burns will probably be named as cover.
Hazlewood and Starc have, so far, come through, unscathed.
Bird & Siddle both bowled very well

Right arm quick. Not express.
Took most wickets (51 @ 21) for last season in Sheffield Shield.
He's 27.
Plays for the Redbacks.
