No it will go to Brayden Sier as he is yet to play in it! _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Forge your own path boys. Make a number your own. Clearly Cal Brown or his old man didn't want him in 26. _________________ "With us or against us, simple" |

Personally I wouldn't want to saddle either of these lads with any more pressure than what will be on them anyway with there fathers special place in our history. Let the boys create there own place and choose whatever jumper numbe they want |

Quote: | JOSH Daicos will wear the number 26 Gavin Brown made famous at Collingwood, while Callum Brown will take on No.17 as the two father-sons set about making their own name at the Magpies.
Josh's famous father Peter played 250 games in No.35 for Collingwood and Callum's dad, Gavin Brown, played 254 games in No.26, with both being part of the Magpies' drought breaking 1990 premiership.
Collingwood CEO Gary Pert said Josh Daicos and Callum Brown wanted to carve their own path wearing numbers different to those their famous fathers wore.
"It was a request from the players," Pert said. |

Glad they haven't copied their father's numbers. It places too many expectations - damn it, its hard enough playing than having any extra burden applied that you're supposed to live up to. Let them make their own way.
Good luck to all our newbies, let's hope they all have great careers and contribute to the ongoing success of our great club. |

Agreed. Enough pressure as it is.
Kirby FFS has been likened to Betts, Pickett with elements of Cyril Rioli.
Hope all the kids do well but talk about pressure _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

No matter what numbers they have they will never just be two kids on our list. Like the second generation Shaws before them, the pressure will be on right from the start. Hopefully they can use that as motivation and not as a weight they are carrying around. |

I think the focus on Cal and Josh, whilst totally understandable will spur the other two on. Sam particularly has obviously overcome a lot to get to this point. He will be a gun I reckon. _________________ 'Collingwood are the Bradmans of Football'
