Gee P4S that's a harsh statement for a player who is a
Premiership player
2 time club B&F winner
All Australian
Rising star nominee and finished 4th
2 time top 15 Brownlow medal count
Voted by his peers on 2 occasions in the top 10 players in the comp
Voted by the coaches twice in top 10 players in the comp
Winner or runner up in several media awards and other player awards
If that's the scale you rate as a depth player then I would hate so see where Sidey rates on that scale !
Considering all the above achievements (except premiership) Sidey has never won or come close to winning or achieving I would say using your scale he is at his absolute best a fair VFL player |
I agree. I was a bit harsh on Greenwood. He's slow but he's not a complete liability. |
So MM is correct. The Ox is slow but the earth is patient!!! |

Playing with Steele would be a reality check, especially pre-season in the time trials. Rocky could come in and not be expected to be the No.1 mid, he's alot younger than Lewis and can go forward ala Swan [and De Goey] for that matter. _________________ Get back on top. |

I still feel we are a sneaky chance.
It was mooted Brisbane and trying to offload him but aren't receiving any decent nibbles. They offered Carlton Rockliff for their second round selection and to cover 25% salary. It was turned down.
A lot of clubs are playing hard ball at just the half way point to the trade period. The next few days are about who calls who's bluff. |

We probably aren't going to land him, but I'd love to have Rocky Balboa in our midfield group, alongside the likes of Wills, De Goey and Adams smashing packs and getting the ball out to the silk of Pendles, Wells and Treloar. |

Nah, let's not forget that it was Rocky who avenged Apollos death!

Agree. If we could get him (and part salary paid) for say Greenwood and a 2016 or 2017 second rounder that would be a big get. He seems undervalued by the market right now and isn't feeling the love at the Bears so it's a good time to move on him. _________________ All We Can Be |

I'd like to get him, but I wouldn't want to lose Greenwood, he was just starting to look like the North Melbourne Greenwood, much more comfortable and able to kick a goal from anywhere. We have an incredible number of great mids, why lose one to get another?
I'm still hoping the whole Rocky thing is a ruse while we submarine Hawthorn & snatch O'Meara! _________________ "If at first you dont succeed...

No, I believe the injury was a ruptured patella tendon which is the same as the injury Buckenara suffered. |
