This trade season isn't bringing home the bacon.
It is bringing home the snout.

Cheer up mate.

Once the trade period is over you can get back on with smashing Bucks. Wink

Hurt his currency by not playing last year. Plus he's 24 now, the upside is not what it was. The 22 year old Nankervis just went for pick 46, so you don't think Witts would have much more value.

Clubs have also been very reluctant to give up picks under 30 in this trade period. The draft is seen as strong and we've seen many players being traded for later picks than usual.

Some would say we are both idiots for supporting Collingwood.
I like to think we a both bat shit crazy and passionate.
Regardless of what happens with Bucks, Eddie, the Board or the players, I know you and i will be back each and every year.

Witts to Gold Coast actually, but pretty close. Wink

I've also heard picks 44 and 62, if this is the case that adds up to 485 points.

Pick 37 is equal to 483 points, so that means a late 2nd rounder for Witts.

Anyone who saw him play in the VFL prelim final would take that any day of the week.

No need to wait, just fact that another player he couldn't fully develop. We have heaps of them over 5 years.

Collingwood's Jarrod Witts has been traded to Gold Coast in exchange for picks 44 (R3) and 62 (R4).

So much for your pick in the 20's inxs88

Quote:
Like buying a house for investment purposes, you don't need to live in it and one mans trash is another's treasure. I'll guarantee you that multiple clubs have interest in Witts and he shall provide the Pies with a pick in the 20's or better.

He played 2 senior games and we have been given overs for him in my view.

A real shame in my view seeing the time and effort invested into him.

Needed points. Got the points.

Has all the attributes to have been a great ruckman 10 years ago, but doesn't suit the current game. We got a good deal here, but in 3-4 years we might think otherwise if he comes on like we all thought he would.
