| Post subject: Pies have offered Brent Harvey 1 year deal with an option |  |

Gubby has met with Boomer this week and offered a 1 year deal to Brent with an trigger for a second form and injury pending. Subsequent to that is a development role. Brent has a good relationship with Nathan over both their journeys and has till November 27th (delisted free agent cut off) to accept or not.
If you want verification go to Facebook and search for his wife Shayne McClintock Harvey (his wife) whose posted a pic of him in a Pies jumper. Not Facebook link savvy, so if somebody wants to upload here...

Is it or is it not true that Nicks has complained about the lack of a genuine crumbing forward who kicks goals.
We are likely to recruit one or two of Daicos and Brown and they might fill the role, but they wont be able to deliver as rookies and probably not as sophmores.
so we try to bridge that gap by getting one of the best crumbing and goalkicking forwards in the history of the game, a guy who is old, but who is was still performing in his most recent season. Its a modest 1-2 year commitment and he essentially takes Goodyear's spot on the list.
An added benefit is that it might also secure the services of Wells who is a freakin gun in a deal that would be a bit of a coup if we could pull it off.
AND PEOPLE GO APESHIT!

Agree with all of this, he can only make us better. Will finish top 5 in their best and fairest. This also says to me that Gubby obviously rates bucks and is doing his utmost to ensure he does succeed.
