Always liked the Caff.

Injuries really cut down what could have been a 200 game career.

I'd like to see him captain the VFL team, but he might want to focus on things other than playing.

I've also thought that he'd make a good coach at some level someday.

He's been named as co-coach of Kilcunda Bass for 2017.

Co-coach due to his AFL commitments with the Pies. He won't be playing VFL.

On the coaching thing with Caff ,anyone who can fight thru horrific injury and
pain to pull the boots on again has G and D in huge quantities and can instruct and help get players to aknowledge that part of being a competitor

Dont say he be a good coach but any leader to have fought a battle has a valuable tool for the job plus the fact Caff has never ever been

ME ME ME

Player welfare role, according to Tom Browne who reported it yesterday.

Def the right man for the job. Caff is a ripping bloke.

A player welfare position could lead into coaching roles? Sad that his playing days are gone, but I've always thought that we'd see him get into coaching someday. Wish him great success.
