What a game. Bad luck Dip. You got to take those chances when they fall to you just like Owen did. Henry looked like he was in two minds when he got the ball in front of goal. He should have hit a couple of them first time. Viera controlled the midfield. I think Hamman is a dud and was calling for him to be taken off. We looked a lot better when Macca came on. Smicer was also dissapointing. I am looking forward to when Barmby is back.

Bring on Alaves.

Well mate there's bad luck when you lose a game you desrved to win & the there's the bad luck of a crap referee who hasn't got the balls to send off a player who handballs a goal bound shot on the line (& give a pen as well).
I must confess to reaching a state of inebriation much earlier than was entirely prudent & so my recollection of events is shaky to say the least but on reading the papers next day it was obviously the same old story of not having a natural finisher like Owen.Apparently Fowler was absolutely gutted at not being picked & the talk is that he will leave & guess where everyone thinks he might go?-YES to Arsenal.
Still congratulations to Liverpool I think they'll win on Wednesday to round off a pretty successful season whilst we have to deal with losing in another final but that's football.I have a feeling that we're gonna buy big this summer & hopefully will come back strong for a serious championship assault next season.
