Post subject: The Problem with Social Media | |
|
I found a Huge Problem with Facebook/Social Media. That Huge Amount of Users are Keyboard Hero's/Trolls who just love to be Big Shots.
You Post something and There is always someone there to have a Go at you for what you Said. They do to make them Look/Feel Big about themselves and just to put you down.
This Ruins it for the Good People on Facebook/Social Media.
I find espically on Public Groups on Facebook there are plenty of these People who go around being Trolls/Keyboard Hero's. Get a Few on Private Groups but they normally go quickly.
I just find it bloody annoying that these People Ruin it for Everyone _________________ I am Da Man |

As PTID once pointed out to me, big comment sections in Facebook groups are always a bit of a low percentage game – there's nothing much to gain from the discussion in the long run, and you have no personal relationship with any of the people there so the chances of being abused by some random are much higher. While you should post wherever you want, I think it's definitely better to stick with positive, communal environments (such as, perhaps, your personal Facebook page or smaller bulletin boards). _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

^ participating in any kind of open-ended social media (ie one where you cannot choose your contacts) is indeed a low-percentage sport. You know those people you try not to make eye contact with on public transport ? They're all on social media. If you post there, you just volunteered to engage them in light witty banter and an exchange of ideas. It's the social equivalent of rampant promiscuity with unsuitable partners, and it is bound to end in interpersonal syphilis.
Ten per cent of humans have always made life unpleasant for the other 90%. The invention of Social media gave them a country of their own, from which to launch attacks on the rest of humanity. Avoid. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Yes it is a Good Idea to stay to Positive Places but still no Excuse from the Negative Idiots _________________ I am Da Man |

It is a misnomer that they call it social. Bunch of wannabes who have no life. _________________ Annoying opposition supporters since 1967. |

I think you may have just dissed a large proportion of the human race. (Perhaps deservedly.) _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |
