I'll pay that. it's like dietary science, every second day someone comes up with new findings that reverse previously accepted wisdom.
Today it causes cancer and cholesterol, tomorrow it's good for you, then it's bad again.
High training loads, low training loads, altitude, heat...............
If you want to build an endurance athlete, your best starting point is an endurance athlete and build from there.

Wouldn't it be great, even for just one year, that our younger players could cut their teeth in the VFL, instead of getting baptisms of fire in the AFL? Playing 40 blokes in the seniors each year; FMD injury gods...
