If this is true, our team would be almost complete and it would ultimately show a very good mix of high draft picks, trades and great finds. Here is how it shakes out for probably our best 22 (assuming all fit and assuming the Berg is the gun we all think that he is).

Mature Trades: Howe, Wells, Adams, Treloar, Varcoe, Aish, Crisp, Greenwood, White (9)
High draft (and draft like trades): Pendles, Sidey, Reid, Brown, Moore, DeGoey, Scharenberg, Grundy, Elliot (9)
Low draft: Langdon, Faz, Ramsey, Maynard. (4)

I'd fancy my chances with that team in 2017 and especially in 2018.

Doesn't even include stars of the caliber of Blair, Cox, Broomhead, Wills, Smith, Marsh, Crocker, Goldsack, Phillips (am I missing anyone).... or guys like the players we get from losing Cloke, Williams, Oxley, Frost and Witts.

Didn't include Goodyear, Macaffer, Swan, Toovey, Sinclair (sadly), and the kid, Sier.

There's a fair bit of upside to Daniel Wells but...he's 31 and very injury-prone.
Does that cause any concern?

I'm shocked. I thought a 31 yo like Daniel wells wouldn't turn 32 for at least a couple of years. Really, he turns 32 next year?????

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing

the club will come out and hold a press conference to state:

"We are disappointed in Wells decision to turn 32 in 2017...and we hope that he reconsiders."
