I guess we couldn't match their brand of bread rolls............. Cool

Something like that; we offered a three year deal on bread rolls, the tiggers trumped us with a four year deal, thems the breaks!

I'm bitterly disappointed that Balme is leaving, after being publicly shafted. He was a great mate of Bucks and a measured and calming influence in an environment full of alpha males. If the AFL ends up imposing a penalty on Allan for his role in the supposed 'drug test avoidance' incident at GWS, then we are well and truly stuffed.

Shafted? He was on easy money. Hardly shafted. Gubby will do a much better job. End of story.

A silly bugger Balmey, going to that rabble is like buying a ticket on the Titanic after it hit the iceberg. !

Writing was on the wall as soon as Gubby was announced as the God of Football. Pies tried to spin a believable story about Balme's role but everyone could see through it.....even that knobend KB knew Balme was gone.

Not sure why the club can't just be honest, but feels the need to try and keep everyone happy?

Seriously **** me if our senior coach, who is supposed to be the ultimate alpha male (your words) of the lot needs bloody hand holding from someone like Balme.

There's not hand holding at Sydney, GWS, Hawthorn, Western Bulldogs or Adelaide.

Balme isn't a loss at all, he's well past his past and if his only role was to cuddle Bucks every few days, then thanks for the Blackmore's injury lies Balmey and good riddance.

Sorry but I can't see how this hurts us as a club at all.

Balme will soon learn the facilities at decrepit Punt rd, the ground looks like a 1950s shithole, as does the interior and exterior, are not a patch on the Holden centre. No more free parmas and chips either, just hard bread rolls with out of code butter. Big mistake by Balme, hes walking into a shithole of disunity and malcontent by two Boards, and a nest of players who want out.

You are aware of the squillions that have been spent refurbishing Punt Road in the last couple of years aren't you?

Short Term - Balmey has a new desk and Laptop
Medium Term - Balmey loses his hair
Long Term - Balmey gets the blame for everything a tuggerland.
