How about a straight swap - Boyd for Cloke: they get a guy who doesn't kick goals and we get a guy who never misses (because he never gets a kick).

Twenty kicks and four handballs wasn't too bad an effort. Although he may retire in a week.

Please make it happen. Hampered by a shoulder injury basically the entire year. Anyway, although I enjoy sarcasm we can only dream.

We'll get nothing for poor old Clokey, except some cap relief.

3 kicks against Hawthorn, 2 kicks against GWS - I think you may have the wrong Boyd?

Yes that option is there if required. But you & I are on the same page here I suspect. We don't have to get Clokes salary off our books when we just got Swanny's, Caff's & Tooves off it. Clokes would have dropped substantially if he stayed because he apparently didn't meet certain criteria as well. That is a hell of a lot of TPP savings right there. If we are moving Cloke on I'd say it has zero to do with getting his reduced wage off our books & more a case of lets see what we can get for him.

Yep, even the recent signings of Treloar and Howe wouldn't have pushed them beyond 95%.

He was magnificent today, especially after that thug and dud player, Dunn, tried to smash his shoulder at the 1st quarter break.

Very clever from the Dogs. They strapped his good shoulder!!

The only problem is - that trick only works once; he wouldn't last a quarter against the Swans, it would look like a scene from Romper Stomper.

I wonder how many would straight swap Cloke for Jong now? We'll see what happens if he get a GF game.

I know that. I was being a smart arse. Aren't lawyers trained to write in a clear manner that excludes ambiguity?

The table below didn't translate well from the AFL website, but LJ would have done well to take any votes away from the names below; most of whom were very influential last saturday against GWS...
