Perhaps Jong is a retro closet noddy holder and slade fan.

I'll bring this back to page 1. Anyone else notice that nothing has been said about JO's secret meeting with Clarkson other than it was a good thing? I do remember the wrath from the football world over our secret meeting. Laughable.

I think the issue with Jong was that he toured the Holden Centre. There was broad acknowledgement that these types of meetings happen all the time.

Ling Jong is too prone to injury. He seems to be, well the Lost Dogs Home describe him as a quote "fierce competitor", a player who tries hard to compensate for a lack of natural football ability with an obsessive effort to possess the ball, followed by often poor and rushed disposals. Other teams quickly find his measure, yet all too often let him roam, moreover regarding him as a nuisance, rather than a real threat. His injuries appear to be a product of his playing style ; and without a radical change, will only get worse. We don't need a player like this and are better off letting the hype around this novelty run its course. I would think Jong has peaked. Aim for a younger player with more potential and one less prone or likely to serious injury.

Oh well. Its not news unless its about the Pies mate. Footscray knew and were fine with him meeting us. They already had Cloke lined up, so it was mutual between the clubs.
Anyway, I still think Jong will be a part of the Cloke deal, but Cox is going to have to give up his #46.

I hope dogs get through to GF, and he gets recalled, so we aren't lumped with him in 2017.

He'd be hoping he doesn't score the Leigh Matthews/Alan Richardson template for suspect collarbones...

It'd be pretty funny if he played two losing GFs in 6 days.
