That's a shame, because after watching him win the Liston Trophy for best in the VFL GF, I was starting to get excited about seeing him in black and white. Still, our club may have other fish to fry, so we'll soon know one way or another how we've gone in the trading period. |

That's a shame, because after watching him win the Liston Trophy for best in the VFL GF, I was starting to get excited about seeing him in black and white. Still, our club may have other fish to fry, so we'll soon know one way or another how we've gone in the trading period. |
I have a strong feeling he will stay at the dogs anyway now. Incidentally, any news on Wells, I thought that deal was nearly done and dusted for us ?

Has there been a change? I thought the Liston Trophy was the VFL's equivalent of the Brownlow Medal, not the Norm Smith Medal. Although, if he could win the league B&F based on one game it is no wonder that we were interested in him. |

Considering what we would need to pay, I'm not interested.
He is a likely type that may have a successful career but I feel we already have some of these guys in our own backyard we can invest our efforts into. |

Come to think of it, I think you're right about the Liston trophy. Anyway, whatever it's called, he won the medal for BOG in the VFL Grand Final. |

By AFL free agency rules, it can't be announced until free agency begins, which for this year is Friday the 7th. Expect both deals for Wells and Mayne to be tabled on Friday. |
