Well IF the Story has been Lied to by the Club. Then I don't blame him for Leaving for a Better Job.

We never did much with him in Charge anyway

Yep Collingwood fc has just announced it.

Good luck Balmey, they have been rebuilding since 1982.

Oh how I am going to miss short term, medium term and long term......

All the best to Balmey!

Great bloke and good football operator but it was clear that the return of Gubby Allen spelled the end for him here.

AFL was very keen to lure him up to Qld but he didn't want to move interstate. Has been offered more $$ than what he was currently on at Pies by Tigers.

Always going to be a marked man at Collingwood if Buckley doesn't succeed next year so better to take the long term security at Richmond.

Good move for Balme who won't find it any easier at Richmond with an ageing list and an impatient board.

I was not talking about a particular position dude, I was talking about being Buck's sounding board.

Good luck to Balme, he was shafted well and truly by the Club. I think it's a good thing that he heads back to the Tigers as he started his football there.

There had to be changes to our club after the dismal failings of the past few years. Hopefully more staff are replaced in what I would deem a non performing business.
