Considering we have Daicos and Brown in the next draft do we build points needed (correct me if i am wrong...) for these Sons of legends, or do we get ready made players like Barlow and That Essendrug bloke... Arrow

Given that we currently - especially after the exit of Tooves, Caff, Swan, Brown and Cloke - have a very young list, we should be looking to bring in 2-3 ready made established players, to fill specific holes in our lineup. Remember, we may end up also trading out Brown, Cloke, Witts, Williams and possibly Frost. Even if only the first 3 eventuate, that should enable us to secure at least a couple of very good players

A couple of KP players would be good. I know an exciting small crumbing forward would be good too, but I think with Elliott, Broomhead and Sidey, we should be able to cover that position.

Then we will need enough points (we don't know how many yet) to secure Brown and Daicos.

Given our KP stocks are walking out we *must* have something in that region up our sleeves. If not I fear Krakageggon next year.

If Freo won't give us Walters then I think we need to bank picks and look at sneaking in the GWS backdoor to look at Tomlinson and Stewart.

Trade for picks IMO, try and get into the first round and go for the best KPP available.

Given the way we treated Stewart, I am wondering whether he/his family would seriously consider. And given we passed, what has really changed in that time.

FTR, I think he would fit in well in the longer term.

What exactly has Stewart done that we should recruit him?
If he had a different surname would we chase him?

Difficult getting a game when you've got Cameron, Patton and Lobb ahead of you. Don't see Tomlinson getting too many games either. Both would look good in Collingwood jumpers.

agree with this. we should be able to get our pick back in a trade involving Witts

Would be amazing if we can convert Cloke and frost into a mid first rounder.

If we must lose Brown, would we get an end of first rounder or second rounder for him?

With all the rumours, has something definite been said about wanting to trade out Williams, did he have dick picks too? Or is he out of favour with the Nicks coaches?

Depends on the size of the contract he's offered, i'd guess $350k 3 years, reckon that would net us band 2 compo, not really sure though.

We will have Keffe back next year for a spot on the half back. Would love to see the Pies chase Sam Reid at Sydney (as a replacement for Cloke) and either Adam Tomlinson or Will Hoskin-Elliott at GWS....I am aware it would be difficult to get both....Stewart could be good.

hopeful the Pies will have the later pics to secure Brown and Daicos ...but things can change....who knows how many clubs have eyes on them.
