Brisbane Lion Josh Green is set to explore his options in the upcoming trade period.
An upgrade on Blair? Not sure what they'd want for him. |
No - I don't think he is. Blair has him covered no problem. |
Agree. May well improve at another club but is a small forward who offers nothing else at this stage. |
Exactly. We need a GENUINE small crumbing forward, not a part time mid / part time forward, sometime goal kicker. |
I agree it's a need, but we might as well get a good one rather than one who doesn't even represent an upgrade on Blair. Would prefer to grab Ballantyne for a couple of years and see how Daicos and Brown develop but even then would rather focus on KPP types.
We get Fas and Elliott (hopefully) back next season. |
Would not touch either Green, nor Ballantyne. Lazy f*ckers.
Let me go on record as saying even though they may be more talented than Blair, they lack his work ethic. Not advocating we keep Blair, just sayin' these two loafers are no upgrade either... _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

JOSH GREEN | Brisbane Lions | 24
From the AFL App:
"BRISBANE Lions small forward Josh Green is understood to be open to a trade as he ponders a fresh start to revitalise his AFL career.
The talented 24-year-old battled for goalscoring opportunities in 2016 as the club blooded inexperienced key forwards and struggled to move the ball inside 50.
He kicked just 11 goals in 10 games after kicking 82 goals in 53 games between 2013 and 2015. In 2014 he was the club's leading goalkicker with 33 goals.
Green, who hails from Tasmania, should attract interest from clubs looking for a smart, small forward, given his age and his proven goalkicking prowess."
If we can't get Matera from Gold Coast, we should be looking at this guy. A smart(arse) small forward who isn't afraid to play for a free kick (like most talented annoying small forwards). Could flourish with the amount of football our midfield sends forward, and would complement our high flying smalls in Fasolo and Elliott (and the tall Moore and Cox) as he is a genuine crumber. Would consider Oxley (QLD native) in a straight swap. |
A frustrated 'bump'. _________________ Est. 2002 |

Evidently he hadn't kicked a goal all season, until he plodded past Reid who true to script, literally gift wrapped the ball for him.
And in the last quarter, left all alone at the foot of a pack for another laughable gift.
Only against our muppets. Unreal. _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Yep. It was always going to happen vs us.
I'd rather a cheap as chips front and centre hobbit than a $400K VFL player.
However, as per my earlier posts in this thread, Matera was my no.1 target. _________________ Est. 2002 |

These midgets actually stay where they're supposed to...on the ground at the drop of the bell. _________________ Est. 2002 |
