How about Witts and Cloke to the Doggies for the Bont!

I think the question of will we or won't we, is moot. Collingwood's brains trust wanted to trade him this time last year. Witts didn't want to leave and so had another year to persuade the club that he had what it takes.

Two years ago in the pre season, I asked Bucks about using Keeffe more in the ruck. He asked me why I'd consider this when we have two good ruckmen in Grundy and Witts. He finished by saying something like 'we're pretty happy with our big men.'

One year on Keeffe was gone and the club STILL wanted to trade Witts. That's some tumble down the assessment ladder isn't it?

We should get the best trade we can for Wittsy. This year he won't turn down the chance to be traded.

BTW, somebody suggested Cox was a better overhead mark than Witts. If he is then it's faint praise indeed.
