No real surprises thought Grundy may have been a outside chance but his first half of the season wasn't as nearly as strong as his second half.
Congrats to both Pendles and Treloar great seasons by both and will run 1 - 2 in the Copeland
Also congrats to heater on his inclusion |

| Looks to me as though Max Gawn is the only ruckman in the squad. Grundy stiff to at least not be in the squad on that basis. |

Well, been very good in a couple of games and shown improvement as the season progressed, great might just a tad strong. Reasonable expectation next year with another preseason under his belt. |

If there was a second it would have been Goldstein way before Brodes. He's had an awesome year.

Goldstein first half excellent- second half ordinary (loaded up early for Brownlow so have watched money flitter away for weeks!)
Brodie awesome second half- combined they deserve a spot!
With you JW- Zac Merrett deserved to be there, as did Cripps from Carlton.
But, we know this is a popularity contest, and there are bizarre unwritten rules about players having to 'earn' selection over a number of seasons.
AA is about up there with 'Student of the Week' award. |

^ how cripps missed is beyond me. thought he was a lock but take your point about consistency over a period of time. that said, if it's about picking the best performers for the season merrett and cripps performed on a consistent basis week in, week out.
