I've got no problem with Eddie making a captain's call in appointing Gubby Allan as Head of Football Operations at our club. He was after all, our football head when we won our famous 1990 Flag and he has since had tremendous success at both Brisbane and GWS since then. However, given that Balme and Hine have been loyal servants of our club, I just hope that Eddie and/or Pert were honest and up front with our football department from the beginning. The press is suggesting that Balme and Hine were told fibs about Allan's role at our club when he was initially appointed back in May. If there is any truth to this, then I am very disappointed. It risks causing disunity and mistrust within our football department, at the very time we are entering a make or break period for our team, particularly the tenure of our coach. I hope that the talk of discontent and disillusionment within our football department is a media beat up, with no truth to it, but history suggests where there is smoke there is fire. |

There is no doubt that things in the admin section of collingwood have not
been right for a long time.
The famous captains pick with Bux put a lot of noses out of joint.
Both with staff and players.
Mr Walsh leaving was a direct result of a personal nature with Pert.
Plenty of players and staff have backed Bux and Eddie over the years.
But no one can dispute that a significant number have not.
No organisation is immune from politics.
But there is a problem there now. _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |

It matters because we are not all walking down the same street! |
Neither do we do that at Nick's dude.....
Why does it matter when the final outcome is what is best for Collingwood? _________________ Don't confuse your current path with your final destination. Just because it's dark and stormy now doesn't meant that you aren't headed for glorious sunshine! |

It doesn't matter if we on Nix fight like cats and dogs.
We are irrelevant.
Go ask Adam Giles of the CLP in the NT what it means to not walk down the
same street.
Disunity is death in politics and footy.
And what "is best for Collingwood" ...who decides that? _________________ we don't eat our own at collingwood we just allow them to foul our nest. |
