I had him in the "don't the door..." camp but watching him grab his Collingwood jumper after his goal and the crowd reaction to him has me flip flopping like a... |

Unless we think we can win the flag next year, those who want us to keep Cloke should ask themselves, whether they really think he'll be a significant power forward in 2 or 3 years? If the answer is yes, then perhaps we should try to keep him, but if the answer is probably no, then I say trade him now while he's still got some currency. |

As of yet, I haven't' voted... I can't see a petition being any point honestly.
I really hope Coke stays, but my gut says he's leaving.
We should all be prepared for it, specially the nay sayers who didn't think Dai$y was going, or Beams... |

Interesting that, on the Agenda, Jay Clark took the view that the jumper tug was a farewell thank you to the faithful. I am not sure how free range the Agenda is (ie how free of club influence and censorship), but it was an interesting and seemingly confident interpretation which suggested he is gone.
Perosnally i hope not, as I think the Riewoldt case shows how powerful big men can be late in their careeers, and I think loyalty should matter until ot is clear that it is misplaced. I really want Trav to see out his career as a Collingwood man, if possible. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

Logical enough, and i don't have a problem with him shopping around. As with all such cases, it'll depend on what they want to pay us for him, amd so we might was well have him test the market for himself amd for us. _________________ Two more flags before I die! |

To be fair he did have a bit of a talk to a couple of clubs before re-signing, I suspect that all players have clubs coming at them with a bit of a chat when their contract is coming up.
Just have to wait and see...if the Tigers throw the kitchen sink to get him well and good I hope they cough up a lot of good picks, and don't expect much of his contract paid by us. Stuff helping them snag him. _________________ Ðavâgé

Is it too late to try reinventing him into a centre half back? There was talk about going down this path a while back due to his erratic goal kicking. It has helped reinvent other Fwds in the past and I don't see any reason Cloke couldn't perform a role down back. |

According to Barrett on Footy Classified, both the club & Cloke have mutually agreed to part ways. Does not surprise me one bit.
It's a shame if it's true, but I guess we'll find out Thursday night when Cloke is on the Footy Show to talk about his future. _________________ Ohhhh the premierships a cakewalk for the good old COLLINGWOOD |

What sort of good trade/player/pick could we get from those Clubs? _________________ Sydney Collingwood Supporters Club
