Well with 2 young kids, I only lasted 3 quarters. I was wrapped with the boys pressure and tackling.
Liked Wills, Howe, Phillips, Williams and Kelly. Ferguson is a clever player as well.
I think Wills and Phillips are going to be very good players for us. Wills took a rippa mark.
Disappointed with Goodyear's game. Crocker did okay, looked injured to me? _________________ "Still waiting for your call Caroline ... not a quote in sight. Don't ever presume to speak on Collingwood's behalf," |

For mine, in no particular order, Witts, Wills, Phillips, Pendlebury, Crocker, Kelly, Howe, Collopy, Williams. |
Witts was good. His palm work in the centre was very good and they took to double teaming him at around the ground stoppages because he was dominant one on one.
Wills I liked. Seen up close he's not as broad as he looks on TV but still a fair sized kid and goes hard. Copped a massive cheapshot to the back in the third that should have laid him out. He got up and after a shaky minute or two, got right back into it. He'll be pissing raspberry cordial tonight I reckon.
Pendlebury did a few things that made me revise my opinion that he wasn't an AFL standard KPP. He's no match for a big gorilla, a Cloke or hawkins would destroy him, but they are a dying breed. If we do trade Frost, I wouldn't be adverse to rookie listing him to play 3rd tall back.
Crocker is taller than I thought. Looks and plays borderline like a KPF which is a worry for mine because we already have Fas and Billy who do that but better. Kid has talent but I don't know if he has a spot if everyone is fit. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Sorry I missed this at the time, Cam.
I was on the upper deck of the Legends Stand, just sitting over the flank from where Crocker nailed that goal from the boundary. Good place to watch that one go, as it turned out... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Missed this at the time, but this wasn't shown on Channel 7 for the simple reason that the broadcast facilities at Princes Park are simply not up to scratch and are unusable on the modest budget McGuire Media allocates to the VFL. There hasn't been a TV game there for 7 or 8 years and a couple have been moved from there this year alone. _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

i guess there's also the debate about whether you show two afl aligned teams playing one another or a vfl team only team like williamstown. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

You were right behind me. I was near the fence, just near where he kicked it from. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

My wife and I were on the fence further along the wing from Stui!
I went for a walk to see if I could find any familiar faces but didn't see anyone.
DTM not there? Didn't see him and most obviously didn't hear him so assume he wasn't there? _________________ Cheers big ears |

1896? weren't you at the last supper? |
Actually, that's not true. I missed the Last Supper because I was out scouting for draft prospects for the next season of chariot races. That year, Rome took Siddybottoneus with our first-round pick (he rode about 300 meets and won most of them but most thought he was slightly over-rated) and Langdonus Hur at 66. Hur's brother joined a couple of seasons later and proved to be the better of the two (although they were both stars). |

Actually you need to explain that MB. We have won reserve GF's, we also won as Williamstown under the new structure when we were aligned to them.
Please clarify. |
