Key forward vs small defensive forward. If Blair is utter shite it doesn't say much for Cloke.

Cloke is playing in the VFL and Blair in the AFL.
And anyway, how many other slow defensive forwards do we have in
the AFL???

[^^ The only foreign role he's been asked to play is a run in the ruck 1 game, the rest he's played as a forward, so I'm not sure what you mean.

Clokey has been expected to play like a midfielder,a ruckman, a half forward,
and anything else that it supposed to fit the very non successful game plan. Shit kick it to him as he has the best hands since Billy Picken (notice his son is doing well at the bulldogs). He can mark when he is given good delivery but cross your fingers when he kicks. 5 goals in the 2's and no call up. Maybe just to play in a GF two's. I would rather see him with the ball than the opposition.
Go Pies in 2017.

This.
Brilliant reply 58pie.
You nailed it.
Puts all those who don't value Cloke to shame.

If you mean he's required to work hard to get back and help out the defense or provide a lead up option then yep, he's required to do that but that's the expectation on all forwards in the modern game. As to the ruck, I thought he went okay and it's not like it's not in his genes or he's the only KPF taking a spin in the ruck.

Stuff the modern game Jackass! It is ever changing anyway. 1958 unbeatable Melbourne and the Pies took them apart. Hooker Harrison and the biff. Bring it back. We should be there in the finals to make sure Hawthorn does not take away the proud heritage of the Collingwood 4 repeat which my Mum still reminds me about. Bucks biggest failure is not getting us there. His only redemption will be a 5 repeat if Hawthorn happen to win the GF. I loved it when Brian Dixon (Melbourne winger 1958) was still crying when my team whipped him at tennis. Go pies in 2017.
