Absolute champ. I'd say him, Bucks and Pendles are the three best Pies of my life.

Gutted he can't make it for a farewell game.

I would give him a go to see what he has to offer. My post is more about moving Tarks on though Razz

I used to be undecided, but now I'm not so sure.

I doubt Swanny sees coaching in his future, expect him to waltz into a media gig.

Absolute champ. To borrow a line from Sandy Roberts 'What more can you say"

If the next bloke in 36 is half as good the club will be lucky.

Hope they 3 boys do a farewell lap on Sunday, might give me reason to go.

Thanks Swanny. That was a career I loved. Last quarter, 2011 prelim, never forget it. All the best in "playing" retirement, may you stay rich and infamous.

I'm really going to miss the lad. My fave player over the last 10 years. A character.

I ended up buying myself this...

It's not part of the Swan memorabilia, but it's possibly the only one I liked on the Pies Shop page, that was about Swan.

It's simple, it's sizeable and will fit really nice above my Warren Buffett.

I also liked the Top Flight one, but that had too many words on it for my liking.

Congratulations to the club for the way they handled the farewells for Swanny as well as Tooves and Caff.

However, did anyone else notice that at Swanny's farewell there was one person who tried his hardest to turn the attention away from Swan and onto himself? Sad old bitter and twisted Malthouse mainly talked about how he and Butters were trail blazers in devising a plan to use players like Swan on and off the interchange bench. Malthouse was (not so) subtly trying to take some of the credit for Swanny's brilliant football record. Bucks on the other hand, spoke about how, contrary to popular belief, Swanny worked harder than anyone to prepare for each game and how he was a competitive and proud person. The comparison between MM and Bucks was stark. Well done Bucks and of course, well done Dane.
