We were never going to beat the Doggies no matter whom we picked this week, they are finals bound and in a mean mood, they wont drop this one at their own pissing ground the Etihad shithole. We don't play there at the best of times, even in our premiership year, we llost badly there. Just hope we can have a real go at em,and go down fighting, make em earn it, that's about all we can hope for now. Dogs by around 22 ponts id say. sigh. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Cloke's played his last game for the club, thanks for the memories Trav.
Williams also has probably played his last game. _________________ Defender...........

Confident about a close win against the Dogs. |
Agree - Bucks will be building these kids up to have a real dip tomorrow night and they all have a couple of weeks to show their wares before list management kicks in. |

I love Buckley the player, but the coaching version has me losing interest and hope at a very fast rate.
I'm so over this season just the same as the last 3. |
I see Mr.Potatohead has been using his chook-raffle selection system again.
And if Grundy goes down, Goldsack to ruck [again]?
Or just throw the barely fit Moore into the ruck, and just bust him properly.
No farewell games for Toovey it seems. Nice kick in the guts for him.
And surprise, surprise, the kickless wonder retains his spot.

nah, dogs are good, but they aren't that bloody good to do that, they will win, but not like that, they do have a couple of key players out too. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

Mr Kickless has Mr Headless to thank for his selection.
Although he will miss Mr Clokeless as I reckon the Dogs would have been more worried about Clokeless than Kickless.

We are no hope. 10 goal flogging coming. Yawn.
Guess we have to enjoy the small things. Like my burbon and cokes at home for 5% of the cost at the stadium. Watching a few kids like Moore, Philips, Smith, DeGoey, Grundy, Aish, Wills, and get completely frustrated with Maynard, Marsh, Goldsack, Brown, and Buckleys game plans and structures.
Ohhh of course not forgetting the pleasure of watching the opposition kicking 4 coast to coast goals and another 4 goals from their lonely forwards in the otherwise vacant goal square. |

What a terrible forward line. The decision to drop Cloke is poor even by Buckley's usually woeful selection standards. We'll be lucky to kick more than four or five goals, seriously.

Chill Andrew. If Grundy goes down, White goes into the ruck. After all, the dogs don't have a recognised ruckman anyway.
As for Toovey, no-one should be gifted a game. These last 3 games should be used to see who can possibly stand up for us next year. I'm glad Oxley has been selected, and hope he's used up forward. Goldsack probably will be needed at CHB.
I agree with you about Bilbo retaining his spot. My guess is that he was playing half injured last week, and they expect him to be better this week. You'd hope that he's on notice to perform well over these last 3 games or else face the chop.
I initially thought the dogs would murder us, but with Cox and Cloke both out, I reckon we actually look more potent up front with Moore, Oxley and White as our marking targets.
I'm looking forward to seeing Wills recognised as BOG, after tackling Bottempelli into oblivion. Pies by 17 points. |

Apart from Reid going out this weeks team looks better than last week.
Cloke is cooked and needs to be traded, Williams is a shadow of last year, Crocker did nothing last week and Cox well apart from 3 dodgy free kicks he did nothing either. |

Once again Nathan Buckley bewilders and stupefies me with his totally incomprehensible and unjust selection "system". Whatever anyone may claim otherwise, I could not care less. Travis Cloke is still our best forward. To omit him yet again is just ...what ...words fail me... insane? vindictive? Cloke was way better than several others in the team who got to keep their position, including Jarrod Blair. I have never criticized Blair here, and I will not start now. But he clearly played a far inferior game to Cloke last Friday night. Cloke was also clearly superior to Jesse White as well.
Why are willingly decimating our own forward line by leaving out Cloke who had a fair game last week and leaving in others who were ineffectual?
This entire perspective of getting rid of Cloke, astonishes me. Who do we have, in the immediate term, to replace Cloke? The arguments advanced, that Cloke does not suit us, because we are not an accurately delivering midfield, amaze me. Why would we get rid of Cloke, rather than improve the accuracy of our delivery? I am just astounded by this whole campaign against Cloke, which in reality emanated from Buckley and has gripped unfortunately it seems to me the majority here. This latest selection debacle is probably the final touch to a grotesque farce. Why would we not keep Cloke for one more year as Darcy Moore develops? Crazy stuff, and this latest selection debacle is just the last straw for me in deducing that Nathan Buckley is not going to lead us forward to our next Premiership |
