Jam donuts are the only reason to go to the footy these days.

Mate, I only get em at the G, and only after a win, never after a loss. My good Pies buddy Ari, calls it, the taste of victory. Needless to say, I have not bought many of em this season thus far. Laughing

If Bucks does not pick this weeks side for 2017 I think I will take up golf which is a game I hate but at least I know I play like shit which is better than some of the players getting a games late in the season don't seem to be aware of. Go Pies.

Sounds like Fasolo won't play.

Given that Goldsack was BOG in the VFL, maybe he's worth one last chance to prove his worth?

Out: Cox, Blair, Pendles, Brown

In: Oxley, De Goey, Goldsack, Moore

Yeh, may as well pick the sack, perhaps a send off game for him, he has been a great servant of the club, and he would make a terrific assistant coach down the track.

Though he was good against Freo a few weeks back, and can't recall if he pulled up sore or was simply omitted later?
Regardless, bring him back in, because really, he couldn't do much worse than the defence we fielded last week. Hell, give Toovs a send off as well in the next three rounds. It doesn't matter, it all counts for shit now.

Defense held up reasonably well given we got nutted in the midfield Wink

Weeeeel, footy is a funny game at times, the Dogs are hot too win this, but maybe a bit cocky, like maybe we were against the Tiges. Upsets are pretty frequent this season, no team is really safe on any given day, so we may well come out and play like maniacs as we did last time we played em, would have won but for four injuries in about ten mins too. Hope you are right, I'm even tempted to put a lazy twenty bucks on the Pies. Cool

Would love it if we beat them and gave them further injuries. Gault to come in at Cox's expense and snag 4.

With Fasolo undergoing surgery and Moore unlikely to play, my feeling is we have shut up shop for the year. We are simply going through the motions now, in readiness for next year. I expect us to get thrashed.

It is time to play some of the 'lesser lights' in order to place them under AFL scrutiny to determine if their commitment/skills/abilities will actually benefit the club next year. Wins are inconsequential (but always gratefully received) - its now time for some players to 'put their hand up' and demand their place proving they will be beneficial to the club going ahead in 2017. It appears to me that there are still too many players 'going through the motions' and 'basking in the media limelight', rather than actually earning their stripes! Just my opinion.

Don't be afraid to name them; we're listening!

I have suspected for some time that he walks among us. And I am entirely unsurprised at who he turned out to be... Wink
