How much do you want on that?
Seriously name a price and the amount we will meet up and do the deal.
Or are you all talk no action? |

Cam McCarthy (-2 DVI pts!)
Sam Mitchell (46 DVI pts, so ~pick 69)
Paul Ahern [injured] (pick 69)
Jordan Lewis (141 DVI pts, so ~pick 60/61)
Jack Steele (future 2nd, so 502-948 DVI pts)
Tom Mitchell (1,225 DVI pts, so ~pick 13)
Pearce Hanley (complicated as 3-way and future pick involved, but ~pick 8-10)
I'm a little surprised Pearce Hanley seems to have fetched more than Tom Mitchell.
I think St Kilda have made off like bandits with the Hawthorn pick swap and Jack Steele.
If McCarthy ends up playing to his potential then Freo have done very well too (much better than the 2 x first rounders they offered year ago). |
the points dont make as much sense at the top end. Having access to the next Chris Judd or Hodge or Nathan Buckley makes those trades worthwhile even if the points dont add up.
If i am GWS, with their list, i think it would take a number 2 draft pick to get a player good enough to crack a spot on that team.
I think GWS were brilliant and even though they gave up McCarthy, it was the trade of the draft period.
You watch what happens. Their academy players will demand a number 5-10 pick and so instead of losing pick 7 to the points system, they will say "no problem", we'll take the second best player in the country and STILL get our academy players by using a whole bunch of lower draft picks that you guys ascribe value to (because they have points) whereas they dont. _________________ Ohhh, the Premiership's a cakewalk ....... |

Why would Mooretreloar be foolish enough to want to bet with anyone with a differing opinion?
You constantly call for the coach to be changed, but I do not recall you ever running for a board position on a policy to do that. If you did you would undoubtedly have support. But, you have not done it. Are you all talk and no action? |

I have not run for a board position because our club has not had an election for hmmm - how long ?
Let me know when an open position arises please.
I am always texting Eddie but he keeps changing his number.

As I thought, you deflected and avoided. All talk and no action.
If you want a board position you take the steps required under the club's constitution to call a vote, similar to the procedure that Richmond's Focus on Footy group proposed, but then abandoned.
As for your 90% figure, my assumption is that it is a 100% fabrication.
I will have to end this discussion here. As much as I have enjoyed picking your argument to pieces, my personal economic activity now dictates that I must engage with my clients rather than you. |

Could have had a board election every year. Haven't seen what your team is though or the announcement that you're challenging. |

If I didn't live in QLD I would have no hesitation in running, or being part of a board spill. Eddie has totally lost me. I spent a dozen yeas defending & supporting him, but the idea that we have such a great coach it doesn't even need reviewing (like some of the finals sides are doing!). Ed has nothing but yrs=men around him, and swore after the first Carlton game that he would get rid of his mate in a second if it was the best thing for the club. He lied. He never considered it, even bringing in Buckley's best mate as an assistant.

You are spot on as usual. Interesting to listen to Wallace slam the coaching for 2016yesterday in terms of not knowing who are best 22 are and strategy. The first half of this year was a bloody disgrace. But the second half did show some long awaited promise albeit based on a man on man style of defence. We had better start well next year or there will be carnage _________________ Daicos, impossible angle ... Goal! |
