Xavier Ellis has announced his retirement.

Michael Jamison at the Blues has also called it quits.

I still maintain that we should have got Stevie J for next to nothing last year. In that vein, we have a chance to get Bartel for not much if rumour mill out of Geelong is correct...

Missing on Stevie J was a massive FAIL.
He would just eat all of the spilled ball in our forward line.
Suppose our geniuses didn't expect to lose both Elliott and Fasolo for extended periods.

But I would rather the team lose, than have that pox dog Bartel suit up for us each week.
Although it would take the spotlight off Blair....

Even with fit Elliott and Fasolo (which is what I expected when I pushed the idea) he would be great ... imagine how much they would learn from him.

Would be great at the Pies. Expensive. Freo need a big forward tho, we have one that might help cover the cost?

We'd have to sell the farm to get Nat Fyfe. Trade wise we don't have the collateral to be frank.
