Same as the AFL. Final 8, top 4 get the double chance.
Unlike the AFL though, only 1st and 2nd get a home final...

If we finish 1st or 2nd would we get home final given they can't charge (as I understand it) at Vic Park or Holden Centre?

We were awarded a home final at Vic Park in 2014. That game was free admission too, but we had to compensate the VFL for lost takings.
I imagine a similar arrangement could be had this time around...

Interesting umpiring in this game. No HTB. Players encouraged to hang on to ball when tackled. Quite a number of 50/50 tackles paid as high.
but I shouldn't be worried it will change next week.  |
