Stupid time for a football match. I'll be lucky to catch up with the second half of the VFL match before heading to the MCG, but then I have two hours to kill before the main match starts. Would have been better to start the VFL game around 1PM which gives you about 1 hr to get to the game.

I'm excited by the debut of Wills, hopefully he can gather 15-20 possies and lay a few big tackles.

I think its interesting that it took 3qtrs of a season for him to debut. Similarly to Marsh last year, whereas a lot of our other debutants have come in after 5-6 strong performances in the VFL.

Wills has played 11 VFL matches this season. He's been named in the "bests" 4 times.

That is a big call. I hope they have one of their better games and win. This is now all about 2017. I suspect you will be telling the same story next season, and the next season and the next season ...............

Weagles are lousy on the G, Pies can win this one, if we play as we did against the Cats and Giants. Damn it, I'm calling it, the Woods by 17 pts.

Fasolo is a big out for us. This may have to be Cloke's last stand.

None of the emergencies (Cox, Oxley, Goldsack) have been held back from playing in the VFL today, although one of them may sit out the second half just in case...

No Fas or Elliott...possibly the worst forward line we've ever fielded in our storied history.

This may be Buckley's last stand, bearing in mind that a hopeless Collingwood team beat the Wiggles in 2005 (when they were the best team in the competition): http://afltables.com/afl/stats/games/2005/041820050521.html

If a side boasting names such as as Ben Davies, Chris Egan, David Fanning, Chad Morrison and Julian Rowe could beat a team that had won its previous 13 home and away games in a row, there really can't be any excuses today.

I hope it's against the Geneva convention to butt rape home teams because otherwise we could be on the end of the worlds largest rogering today.
With nothing to play for for us and they have everything to play for just don't know how we can win really especially with 3 more injuries to go with the 3476 we already have.
S much as I want us to win were do the goals come from and how do we stop them from scoring ?
Brace yourself folks these could get real ugly
