One of my nephews is 14. He plays juniour footy & another 5 kids from his high school are in the same team.
They play 10am Sunday mornings. He's pretty good and made the Swan Districts juniour development sqaud.
His performance at school leaves a bit to be desired, smart kid, just messes around (bit like his uncle). Been suspended for truancy, anongst other things.
His new (this year) science teacher (mid 20's female) follows the footy team around. She attends every game, home & away, he just got an A in science (never even got a B before).
Imagine if it was a male teacher following his students netball team around with the same enthusiasm!
My missus works for the education department also and she's cinsidering reporting this young lady's behaviour..... what do you think? _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Kid has a hard on for a teacher. Wouldn't be the first.
My suggestion is to butt out but the parents should keep an eye on things just in case. Don't **** things up when there's no need to. Leave it. _________________ Every dead body on Mt Everest was once a highly motivated person, so maybe just calm the **** down. |

Does she have a relo on the team?
Maybe she's just a good teacher, re the marks
A friend of mine is a teacher, she came to watch her school kids play.
Yes it's a little odd, but I've been to juniors male friends basketball before.
Maybe she just likes footy? _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Sounds like a bit of grasping at straws to me. You could quietly mention your concerns to his parents and get them to keep an eye on things, keep a lookout for unusual behaviour etc., but getting the teacher investigated on barely circumstantial evidence sounds pretty rough. Teaching is a hard enough job without relatives of students treating them like potential sex offenders. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace |

Ok that's a little harsh.
It's being vigilant that catches predators. To me this seems hairless, but it certainly doesn't hurt to be aware.
Aside from that, my dad gave me one good bit of advice, there is no such thing as a dumb question, just dumb people who wont answer. (Something like that! Not that he stuck to I t!) this is a fairly anonymous forum, it should be a good place to ask it. But then I found out How that goes a couple of years back!
My final advice, keep your eyes open. Have a friendly hiya conversation with her at the footy. "Brrr, it's freezing, which little terror brought you out here? The one in the. No. 36 is my nephew!' _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

Just reread the op, no the missus Should not do that. that's totally uncalled for. She could ruin the teachers life for no reason. Not to mention her own reputation if, as is likely, she is wrong
I used to invite the teams I coach over every holidays for a party, I'd hate to think someone was questioning my motives.
As for the school marks, junior was having a hard time in primary school, she is one of those kids who doesn't like to do anything she's not good at, which of course makes learning new things difficult! , in year five she had a teacher fresh out of teaching college.this (female) teacher was amazing, junior never looked back, and her grades improved out of sight. The teacher got a contract at a posh school the next year, and all of the kids in the class cried when she left. She even invited them to her wedding! _________________ You cant fix stupid, turns out you cant quarantine it either! |

I was just asking the qeustion, i hope he gets in her pants!
I haven't been to a game she's attended. The missus just mentioned she thought it was strange, she's going to have a chat with her this weekend.
Teachers aren't allowed to have students as friends on Facebook. You'd guess it wouldn't be acceptable to be an Under 15's groupie either? _________________ Don't count the days, make the days count. |

Have they implemented that new arrangement, yet, whereby teachers in all classes teach from behind one-way glass barriers (so the kids can see them but they can't see the kids)? |

So you think it'd be great if he got 'laid' () but think she might be a predator who needs to be investigated. Sounds a bit like a prurient fantasy tbh. _________________ All watched over by machines of loving grace
