Reporting here straight from Etihad Stadium. Can tell everybody that Lin Jong (The Pies Messiah) had the following stats:

* 8 Kicks
* 11 handpasses
* 9 CLANGERS (a key KPI we love)

Resulting in 86 Supercoach Points

His ability to kick ugly, miss targets but do so with an air of "Jarryd Blair determination in his face" impressed key Pies recruiter Derek Hine who was an interested onlooker. Hine who was the only club recruiter sitting in the Medallion stand cut a lonely figure.

I'd be disappointed if we didn't meet with most possible free agents. Like kicking tyres, doesn't mean you buy them.

Looks really promising, with plenty of upside. One to keep an eye on.

(The thread, I mean. No idea about Jong...)

Apparently Collingwood have already confirmed they're not interested.

I'd be disappointed if they were interested.

Unless they have a good trade period, this is going to be a disappointing draft period for them, which is going to set them back even more.

Swan said after his injury if they're close to a premiership he may stay on, if not... Looks like he may retire.

But... if our forwards, in theory, stood in front of their direct opponents, then the ball should hit them lace-out from these two players? Logical?

The day we have 22 Blair lookalikes out there running about is the day we start a long and successful dynasty; I applaud the Club for getting on the front foot in regards to his recruitment, and would urge others to do likewise

Good to see we could supply the casting-call for the next lot of muchkins for any touted remakes of "the Wizad of Oz", or any Oompa Loompas for another [heaven forbid] Willy Wonka/Charlie & the Chocolate Factory reboot.
