I've read some talk elsewhere that Blair's contract extension is 2 years, not 1...

Why would WCE be looking at Blair he is a spud and has zero impact in every game and only gets a game due to some dodgy photos. At least according to Thompsoc and others.
So are Collingwood ( MM as well as Buckley) and WCE wrong and dont understand football and player abilities or are Thompsoc and others wrong?

But unfortunately I don't believe WCE are remotely interested in the hobbit.
Most likely a made up rumour by the hobbit's manager to get a bite from
the stupid collingwood football club.

OK I can see that although a manager making shit up to get a deal is almost as inevitable as a dodgy free kick to Hawthorn

Blair cops a lot of unnecessary hate, at his height he's never going to be a star, but as a role player he's a real goer and you can't fault his endeavour. Seems to be playing higher up the ground this year, but I think it's important he keeps developing trick shots like we've seen against GWS and North last night. Pity he's not a couple of inches taller as his hands are quite strong.
Moving White back in the early stages of this year was a master stroke, he's now playing with real confidence and I think we're also playing him to his strengths more now he's not being used as the number 2 tall forward.
Both deserved a new contract for mine. |
