The Crows are a formidable opponent so we will be rightful underdogs, but imagine the feeling if we win this.
I really hope the confidence from today will continue on into this game, but it will require our best effort to topple the Crows. _________________ | 1902 | 1903 | 1910 | 1917 | 1919 | 1927 | 1928 | 1929 | 1930 | 1935 | 1936 | 1953 | 1958 | 1990 | 2010 | 2023 | |

I suspect we are selecting sides with >= eye on next year.
Default after a win like that is no changes, but ...
Unless there is a specific negating forward role, I expect Caff to make way. Brown will be under pressure too I suspect.
A lot depends on availability/pressure from guys in VFL. _________________ All We Can Be |

I guess reading reports that Aish, Moore and De Goey could be Dropped _________________ I am Da Man |

Jeeeezus, turn it up Donny, at least let me pour a jack daniels or two to celebrate our wonderful win today, before I have to even contemplate next weeks game in Hicksville Adelaide. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

De Goey was terrific. Moore gets to the contest and is needed to relieve pressure off Cloke and White. Aish and Caff are the only 2 who's spots may come under scrutiny. I suspect there will just be the one change, with Levi coming back in to replace Caff. |

Suspect this may get a few nominations over the course of the week...
But, there's a VFL game to come tomorrow (at Eureka Stadium, FYI to all Ballarat Nicksters) and I accordingly reserve my right to speak... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

They're (probably) not stupid enough to drop Aish, although I suppose anything is possible.
De Goey was hard at it, although his ball use going forward was tragic, at times. I don't see much merit playing him week in, week out for almost 2 seasons and maintaining the faith when he did play poorly only to drop him when the team has a good day.
Moore has to play because there is no viable alternative in the VFL. Also, Travis hasn't had a kick against Talia since 1788, so some additional tall forward options are necessary. |

^^ will head along to the game tomorrow. looks like it will be a tropical 8 degrees. not sure what this game will tell us in the context of next week's selections given it's the bottom of the ladder team. furthermore, big cox (if drops in to spectate) returns to the scene of his vfl debut when it was a typically miserable day weatherwise and we got done. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Cox will get 17 hitouts and kick 3.0 - that will lead to calls for Cloke to be dropped for team balance.
Wills will have 14 kicks and 23 handballs and kick 1.3 and 2 OOF - and that will lead to qldmagpie67 calling for his inclusion at Sidebottom's expense.
Goldsack will get 43 kicks and 81 handballs and take 183 intercept marks playing CHB and RudeBoy will claim that the decision to drop Goldie has been the making of him.
It will just be a normal week, really. |

That will be a pretty impressive performance by Cox, considering he'll be playing from the stands... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

Jessie had a great day! And one of the reasons may have been that the GWS backs had a hard time covering the talls. When Moore took his man off the screen we had a few one on one contests available to kick to. Moore is a super important player for us, at his stage in development he can play both tall and as an attacking flanker. Great strategy by the coaching group. |

It appears I may have been misunderstood. I was responding to DTM's question whether De Goey, Aish and/or Moore might be dropped. I certainly wasn't suggesting Moore should be. My point was rather that there is no one in the VFL who could take his place. |
