Starts today.

11 Aussies in the field, headed by Jason Day and Adam Scott.

Mark Leishman is there, too. Top 5 finish in the last 2. He's in the first group to hit off, at 6.35 BST.

Day hits off about 3 hours later, and Scott starts at 2.15 pm. BST.

Jason Day is +1 after 17 holes - 6 behind the leader.

Best placed Aussie is Greg Chalmers, tied for 12th. on -2.

Matt Jones is -1 after getting it to -4, earlier.

Scott Hend finished his round on even par - 71.

Marcus Fraser finished on 1 over.

Nick Cullen is 2 over, through 7. So is Nathan Holman.

Adam Scott is yet to tee off.Mark Leishman is 3 over with 1 to play.

Patrick Reed (US) leads, in the clubhouse, on -5. He scored 66.

Adam Scott is even after 4 holes.

Greg Chalmers dropped strokes to be +1 after 15.

Phil Mickelson had a putt, on the last, to be the first ever, in Majors, to record a round of 62. His putt lipped the cup.

He leads Kaymer and Reed by 3 strokes.

Defending Open champ, Zack Johnson shot a 4 under 67. 7 other players also hit 67s.

Matt Jones and Adam Scott are on -2.

Mickelson is -3 after 11 holes of the second round. -11 overall.

Zack Johnson and Henrik Stenson are on -7.

Scott is square after 8 holes.

Chalmers is +1 after 2 rounds.

Jones is -2 and yet to hit off, today.

He, Chalmers, Leishman, Fraser and Pampling are all on +1.

Day is +2. Hasn't hit off yet.

The cut-off mark looks to be +1 so Day will need a 70 or better.
