I'm guessing you tipped GWS to beat us too?
The Pies will shock the football world again this saturday night when we deliver a knockout blow to the Crows top 4 aspirations. If not for our horror injury toll against the Dogs, our GWS victory would have been our 8th win in a row. now we have our A team on the track we are the form side in the competition and we will beat the Crows going away. Pies by 38 points. |
Love it. Probably completely loony, but it's nice to have a team and a few results that make it possible to dream again, isn't it ?

I don't know, if a couple of teams in the 8 are discovered to be running a bombers like doping regime, we are in with a real chance!

Had we not lost a match this year, we would be top of the ladder now.
Doesn't matter what could and should have happened, the reality is that we're on 7 wins and outside the 8 as it stands but we've improved in recent weeks and slowly the optimism of many supporters is returning.

IF we beat Adelaide AND Port beats North this week.... then next Fridays game (Collingwood Vs North) will be very interesting.
There's three games that we need to go right for us. If we get 2 out of three, then it's not all over but the big one is Pies/Roos.
Anyway, lets just focus on (hopefully) beating the Crows.

It would be massive if we won tonight, which would make next week's clash against North Melbourne on Friday night pivotal to our finals chances.
Here's hoping we win tonight or at least give a good account of ourselves.

Not just 2 games, 2 games and a fair percentage differential.
At least it is more fun when there is some (faint) hope.
If we won the next 7 we would go into the finals as one of the favourites you would have to think.

No room for error now.
We have to win all of our remaining games even to have a slim chance of making the 8. Ports win over the Roos has kept our finals hopes alive, but I'm not sure for how long. |
