Good recovery by Witts given he was apparently well beaten in Q1. The big O is no mug so he's done well to have that much impact. Of course with the weather and conditions there may also have been 350 ball ups.... |

I wasn't advocating anything, merely sharing the stats on the senior-listed players who took the field. It hadn't occurred to me that we needed a new ruckman so soon after Grundy's game last week. |

Maybe Sidey can become the new ruckman after Frosty replaces him on the wing 😜
On a serious note P4S Frosty is our highest rated player with disposal eff in the seniors.
He ranked top 10 in the league which shows getting 6 touches hitting 5 handball targets 1 metre away and duffing your only kick rates highly !!
Our top 3 players were all backs actually including Reid and Howe |

Neither was I, just noted that he did well to get back into the game when he was reportedly well beaten in the first quarter. |

with at least two quarters close to 35-36 mins long this suggests your last statement is on point. lots of boundary throw ins too. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Stats say we won the hit outs 64 - 41 so Wittsy managed to do okay getting 49. |

This goal simply shouldn't happen...
Was there much wind assistance to that end? Couldn't see much movement in the trees in background? _________________ M I L L A N E 4 2 forever |

Would bring in Greenwood for McAffer, only because McAffer had a specific role in negating Shaw, and against Adelaide there is no such obvious role. We
will then benefit from Greenwood's extra running and midfield presence. Hopefully Fas gets up. So, assuming Fas is OK, I agree with all those calling for one change only, Greenwood to replace McAffer. |

yes, to the extent that a number of throw ins from that end had to be recalled because they went backwards. _________________ Purveyor of sanctimonious twaddle. |

Dyso that kick of Wills was actually into a howling wind so if it had been with the breeze would have sailed through and gone another 100m+ Wills is known to kick them 120-130m off 2 steps hence why he's nick name his Wills the ball whisperer
All the above could be speculation or down right fabrications but it does make for a good story and probably has more truth in it than most articles written in the sun over the past few months |

if the stat is worth noticing whatsoever it should be about kicking efficiency! _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

If Faz is injured then we need a forward like Broomy to provide options. Caff was great but he has a specialist role as a defensive forward and I am not sure there is a clear match-up for him this week against the Crows and Greenwood would be ahead of him in the midfield. Williams is more suited to take on Betts or even Sinclair down back this week... Aish was ok and will be good but in a great team effort was one of the least dominant players - De Goey was also only ok...
If Faz out injured then Broomhead is in... otherwise
Out - Caff and Aish
In- Greenwood and Williams _________________ Love us or Hate us... we are Collingwood - you can't ignore the Mighty Magpies!!! |

Agree that Greenwood should replace Caff, but not sure Williams needs to be brought in. He hasn't been great at AFL level this year. _________________ Magpies forever.
