%$^£$%^&%% this plastic pretend team, stuck in the backblocks of hells kitchen, Sydneys western burbs, time to send these pretenders back to school. I'm tipping Great waste of Space, only cos its up at that shithole up there, but would not surprise me if we take it right up to these bastards, stevie j and shaw an all. We could well win this, all the pressure is on them, not us, so lets chuck the kitchen sink at em and see how it goes. Can't see us beating the AFLs Frankenstein monster, just hope we give em a scare, every flag these clowns win will make even the Lions flags seem legit. _________________ Defender...........

What pressure is on them? Is there some official AFL directive that says opposition teams are not allowed to pi$$ themselves laughing at Collingwood's forward line? |

WTF ???? a forward line sonsisting of Moore, Cloke, and Fasolo has teams pissing laughing, that's a pretty weird thing to say, to say the very least. The pressure is all on them because they are expected to win well, they are a so called top team now, we are not, they are vying for top four, we are not in the hunt. They cant afford to lose this at their home ground, we are not expected to win at all, got it ?? Good, now start barracking for our boys, and cut the snide remarks, its not a good look. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

I try to be realistic about my expectations. It doesn't make them play any better if I pretend they're going to win when they have basically no chance and if they do win against the odds, I enjoy it. Is there something in the Collingwood Supporter Manual that requires me to delude myself before every game that they will suddenly play like a competent team?
Last week's game of football was possibly the worst I have ever witnessed - and I went every week in 1976, so I have a genuine "bottoming out" to measure it against.
As for our forward line, Collingwood has contrived not to kick 10 goals in about half its matches this season, including 4 of the last 5. GWS averages a score of 16.14 at all venues in 2016, they have not been beaten at home and their lowest score there (in their round 2 defeat of Geelong) is better than our score in any of our last 5 games. Make of that what you will - I expect a drubbing. |

It still surprises me that we have 5 unforced changes. Fas and Adams would / should be the only two necessary changes. _________________ Fighting against the objectification of woman. |

We're a good chance here. Butane and Wilson are big losses for their run out of the back line. Griffin too means one less quality mid we have to cover. They might even have to cover us here now that Adams is back.
Let's hope our dysfunctional forward line can kick some goals with our mids delivering down the middle rather than being pushed wide.
Weather is overcast at the moment but little wind and the rain has cleared for now. Go pies! |

Anyone who thinks we're in with a shot doesn't watch the Giants regularly. They are quick as all hell, skilful like no ones business, and did I say quick? Think of the Brisbane team of the early 2000's when they'd stream forward in a wave like a rugby swarm...then add a ridiculous amount of speed to the mix. That's what it's like with this team. Our only hope is to slow the game down and not be torched from their defence into attack on the slingshot. If we can be within striking distance at the half, we might not get spanked by 10 goals. _________________ Est. 2002 |
