So let me get this straight. Bucks picking the best possible side to win each week is all about the coach trying to 'save one's coaching career'. Well here was I thinking that's what all coaches, except Ross Lyon, try to do. Rolling Eyes

Smacks of desperation rushing Adams and Fasolo back. Really, to what purpose? They can't be match fit.

No desperation based on what I witnessed at training today. Adams will give a good account of himself against GWS. The proviso is that he doesn't break down again. With hamstrings you never know.

Agree, and I thought the same... one of the reasons we looked so much better the past few weeks is a bit of stability down back. Maybe it is just the Reid-Brown axis, but I'd rather see some week-to-week continuity across at least 5 of the 6.

It's a 7 man backline so if one changes, it doesn't make much difference, just so long as the bookends remain the same (Reid and Brown).

I am backing in Fasolo and Adams both to be thoroughly match fit. I don't see why we would take unnecessary risks, with no point. I think the fact that we are resting Greenwood proves this: we are mitigating risk factors to Levi by giving him a rest.
Therefore, I am happy with Adams and Faz coming in. Makes us alot stronger. The loss of Greenwood is however a negative factor and I would have preferred him to play this week in terms of winning this game, but let's hope McAffer can show something.
If ground is heavy, then it's good that Mason Cox is being managed, and Fasolo is just the man to replace him on the forward line. I like the inclusion of Marsh as well. I am also happy that we steered away from selecting Jarrod Witts...in heavy conditions, I would give us zero chance of winning playing both Witts and Grundy.
I am not writing us off in this game. This side is very similar to the one that almost buried the Western Bulldogs. Heavy conditions will help us because it slows down GWS' ball movement. We need to bring massive pressure and defensive effort to this game. I give us some chance of pulling off an amazing upset.

Goldy may be stiff but I'm glad Bucks has gone with Marsh for that position.

Fas back is a major help. Our forward line is so impotent without him it's embarrassing.

Good to see Adams back; we need him for clearances so I hope Bucks plays him through the middle.

WTF is happening with the Caff inclusion? I have no idea.

I agree, but resting Greenwood as the tagger meant they needed someone to fill the void. I agree with you though, I'd written him off quite a while ago.

Goldy is tough, a great mark & a much better kick than Marsh, I reckon he is a bit stiff

My concern about Adams & Fas is neither of them have any match conditioning.

I'd argue many players have performed well below the standard that Goldsack met last week, in most games this season, yet still retained their spots for the following game. Oh, what would I know...

Yeah, I hope Macaffer does reprise that tagging role he perfected before his last knee injury.

I remember that Richmond game where he wore baby-faced Cotchin like a placenta.

That'll be Blair's job. Should help with making the opposition giggle a lot, so we can sucker-punch them.
