I reckon we will have a red hot go, but eventually go down in front of about 6000 peoples, by around four goals, they are a bloody awesome team now, this mob of giants. _________________ Poverty exists not because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.

This game will be closer due to the weather forecast. Heavy rain predicted in Sydney this week - Tuesday, Wednesday rain. Showers Thursday and Friday. Possible Showers on Saturday.
So wet weather footy usually brings the sides closer together than dry footy. I think the Pies do alright in the wet.
I think it may be worth 1 less tall and 1 more small forward. Fasolo or Crocker if fit for Cloke. Cox is needed for back-up ruck against Lobb and Mummy. Also Phil Davis is out so they will struggle to contain both Moore and Cox up front.
1 more onballer neeed. Adams if fit if not Macaffer or Broomy.
All this talk about De Goey geez give the kid a chance. Keep playing him in seniors he's only going to get better for the run.
In: Fasolo (or Crocker), Adams (or Macaffer / Broomy)
Out: Cloke, Phillips _________________ Most of my favourite bands start with "M" - Mars Volta, Mastodon, Megadeth, Metallica, Midnight Oil, Misfits...except King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard ~ |

Said elsewhere that I don't think we should swap Cox for White but the more I think about it the more I think we'll need to.
OUT: Cox, Phillips
IN: White, Marsh
If Marsh isn't fit then I'd go with Oxley or Wills.
Fas and Adams to be considered based on availability but as with Moore last week I would prefer they have a run in the VFL prior to resuming at senior level. |

Phil Davis is a big out for them and the wet weather may help us, be handy if Adams is right to roll. _________________ " Ohhh Banksy and out comes the Note Book".

Is there a chance Cox could keep his spot alongside Moore and Cloke in the forward line, and White come in to replace Phillips on a wing? As long as he plays way up the ground, where he can use his speed and agility, this should stop us from having an overly top heavy forward line. |

How about Marsh comes in for Cox? Marsh plays half back and Howe moves up the field to half forward. Cloke or Moore take over relieving ruck duties for Grundy. Not ideal, but we need a fast running side to take on GWS. Don't want to be too top heavy. Phillips only goes out if Adams is fit. |

Agreed, surely they'll outscore us by 1-2 goals each quarter?

2016 is shot. No way are we getting into the finals. Now is the time to develop our potential stars of the future. I would suggest that DeGoey and Cox will be part of our core 22 players in the future. If they are fit they play irrespective of the win/loss outcome. _________________ Now Retired - Every Day Is A Saturday |

All of Fasolo, Adams, Marsh, Crocker and Sier are projected/expected to be available for selection this week at one level or another, along with Toovey hopefully right to go after suffering a head knock in the VFL.
Don't get your hopes too far up, though, because we've been down this road before...

I'd be shocked if they brought all of Fasolo, Adams, Marsh and Crocker back in off of injury layoffs of varying degrees of length. But given they played Moore straight up off of a 6 week break, they might just go 'bugger it' anyway... _________________ I am vengeance. I am the night. I am MagpieBat. |

I was thinking Marsh coming in already would allow Howe to move further afield. White didn't deserve to be dropped and was a clear BOG at VFL with 23 disposals, 12 marks and 2 goals 1, while Cox was pretty flat so happy with my changes. Allows White to give Grundy some ruck support. |
