Actually he was intending to play for Richmond until he heard about the chopsticks Martin episode where Richmond decided to take no action against Martin. At that point he realised he wanted to play for a club that had an anti-discrimination policy towards women, not a club that says one thing and does another. He also heard about all the good work our president does in raising money for the homeless, providing food and shelter for the poor in Collingwood. That's the club for me he thought. The rest was easy in getting his signature.
