I was surprised at how well he kicked last week at the very cold MCG. Kicking is usually his downfall but he kicked pretty well I thought.

He looked like he belonged. Hopefully, he can keep up the standard this week too.

i agree that his kicking wasnt an issue this week, but boy he sweated over every kick (or was it me). you could see him actually stop and remind himself to be sure not to f$ck it up!! to his credit he didnt.

I think young guys f$ck up because the pressure makes them rush. Maynard for example is a beautiful kick but sometimes the perceived pressure in the AFL causes him to rush and kick a stupid ball straight to opponents. I think that can be fixed over time.

Marsh seems to have the poise already to be able to make him slow the game down to a tempo that he is comfortable with. a very good quality.

A re enforcement of my case!!! Do you have ANYTHING good to say about anyone at the club? He has ongoing soft tissue injuries since he has been at the club and to blame the training regime/fitness coach on these injuries is almost making my weeties come up.I'm sure there are greater minds in the fitness fraternity ,both within and without the club that would disagree with your assessment .As I said before."Give it a farking rest will you"!!!

After reading this post I paid more attention to Rance against Port last night

Gee would really like Jonno Marsh to emulate Rance cos that man is a hell of a good defender

Unfortunately this latest setback only reinforces people's fears about his ability or lack thereof to stay on the park. I really hope it's only minor Sad

Felt similar with Ben Reid over a season or two but
he is back and playing like Ben of old so lets hope
Jonno follows same path

Not sure bout Rance but John Marsh is and as a kid hope he can get injury behind him and have a long
