I see little to no evidence that H's off field interests have negatively impacted on his on field performance. I think football supporters just get frustrated that he's not behaving like a "normal footballer" should (i.e. yeah, nah, one week at a time) and sometimes says stuff that makes people uncomfortable. At the end of the day it doesn't hurt to have a range of personalities in the world, or in a football team, for that matter. Life would be far more boring if we all thought the same.

It's not so much that he's different David, but rather the fact that he constantly seems troubled and unsettled. His public utterances about being sexually abused is but the most obvious sign of mental anguish. I genuinely worry about him and hope he finds some semblance of inner peace. |

He was never sexually abused, it was his relative....
The bloke just has a habit of making it all about himself, kind of like Goodes. |
